What to do with your guests while you conference? Send them on a walking tour.
Participants need to wear good walking shoes. You'll spend about 1.5 hrs walking around the Chinatown neighbourhood and inside the historic buildings, too. People get to learn about the history of the neighbourhood and Vancouver, and meet some of the elders who grew up in Chinatown and experienced the discrimination of Canada's laws. The tours are fantastic and incredibly interesting.
The individual fee for the tour is $25 cash at the tour. You can reserve a spot by emailing PLAIN2013@gmail.com and putting "Chinatown Tour" in the subject line. If you are reserving for more than one person, please indicate the number in the body of the message.
